Silver Lake summer 2009

We have made a couple trips to Silver Lake this summer. So, I decided to make one short post and put a bunch of pitures. Back in June, I had to make a business trip to New Jersey. So, Jennie took the boys to the lake with Mooma, Pop-I, Mac, Annie and a cameo from Will and Stokes. They had a good time. In fact, they even went over to Compass Lake for the afternoon one day and Jennie was able to get Houston on the tube with her. Tucker declined.

Last weekend, we took our family of 5 and Uncle Tom's family of 4 and all headed down. Again, a good time was had by all. Cooper jumped off the dock and we even got Houston to let Uncle Tom drop him down to Aunt Katherine. Again, Tucker declined, but in his defense, it is a long way to the water and he is still not 100% confident in his swimming abilities in the "deep water". His swimming is great and Houston was getting pretty good at kicking his feet with his water wings on. David also enjoyed being in the water in his float, though he was most interested in eating sand ("You ate what? We ate sand."). It was a good end of the summer trip. Kindergarten starts on the 17th.
