Houston's 1st Bday party

Even though Houston's actual birthday isn't until the 29th, we went ahead and celebrated it today. It was a family only affair with cousins, aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncles, grandmothers, grandfathers, and even a great grandmother.

The menu included pigs in the blankets, ham and cheese croissants, chips and dip and of course, cake and ice cream. There were so many pictures being taken, you would have thought the paparazzi was there and Houston was one of Britney's kids, but it didn't seem to phase him. He did so well. He dug right into his cake and got it all over himself and the floor just like he was supposed to. He also had a lot of help from all his cousins who dug in themselves and all attempted to feed him.

The weather was a little uncooperative being cold and rainy, but it didn't seem to slow any of the kids down. They all played inside and outside and had a big time, as they always do when they all get together.

After it was all over and all the guests had gone, Houston opened his presents with a little help from Tucker and Cooper. After that, the little man was tired and ready for a nap, as were his big brother and his momma. I guess we will have another one of these in about a year and a half.
