First day of school

Its that time of year again. School has started and for those of us with young ones, that means orientation, a bag full of supplies and new systems to learn ("south to drop off moron!!").

Tucker's first day of 4p was today. This year is a little different because he now goes every day until noon. Do you think Momma was looking forward to that? That means our kid level during the mornings is back down to almost manageable.

If you were to ask me if Tucker was excited, I would tell you he slept with his new red school bag his teacher gave each student and let you draw your own conclusions.

Not to mention he and his cousin Abbie are in the same class again this year. (I put a picture of them at the bottom.) In fact he was looking forward to it so much and had such a great day, when Jennie went in to get him, he declared he wasn't leaving and pitched a fit. At least it wasn't the other way around right? I mean, some kids don't want to go to school and ours doesn't want to leave. Let's hope we can keep him in that same frame of mind all the way through high school and then reverse it when he has been in college for 4 years.
