Long time no blog

We have been getting a lot of comments about the lack of blogging lately. My thinking was that not much has been going on. However, when we sat down to think about it, there was nothing major, but there have been a lot of things going on. For example:
A breach baby that turned, Daddy passing the CFP exam, Tucker finishing 3P, micro soccer, spring break, Easter, a lake trip, Houston started walking, etc...

So, this should bring you up to speed on everything.

For spring break this year, The Rock got to go spend a whole week with his aunts in North Carolina...bless their hearts. As you can imagine, any time spent with Aunt Kathy is big time. We're talking non-stop video games, trips to the park, popcorn, movies, etc... When we finally got him back, he was spent, but had an unbelieveable time.

This was the first year both boys got to go see the Easter Bunny. They did ok with picture taking with him (or her), but were great for pictures on Easter sunday. I have attached one here.

When Houston started walking, Momma decided it was time for him to have some new shoes. So, off to That Store they went to pick them out. Needless to say, he was extremely proud of them and after a few minutes he adjusted to the different feeling on his feet and started getting around as if they weren't there, just making better sounds as he trotted around (trotted because he never just slowly walks around).

Next was our first trip of the year to the lake for the weekend. We were afraid we were going to get rained out, and did get some which we desperately need down there, but not enough to scare us off. The boys had a great time (not as a great as Sam) and again did some good posing for Momma to take some pictures. I think Houston liked the sand the best...eating it that is. The water was freezing, but they didn't seem to mind. Tucker did some karate moves in the water while Houston sat in the water and splashed.

Mercifully, micro soccer came to an end in April. In the beginning, Tucker was real into it and got out there and played, but towards the end, we had a hard time even getting him on the field without him pitching a fit. So, needless to say, we probably won't play micro soccer next year. He did get a trophy though, which is the most important part.

In May, Papa took Tucker to see the dam in Columbia. He had a great time and posed for this shot.

Tucker and Houston got a chance to go fishing at Mooma and Popi's house with Gigi, Papa, and Momma. Tucker wouldn't touch the bait, but did catch a fish or two. Houston tried to eat the bait, showing no fear whatsoever. Again, Tucker posed for this shot before everything got started.

Ok, that's it for this blog. We will post a couple more after this on some topics that require more detail. Stay tuned...

Jon--I have been checking from time to time and glad to see that you did some "blogging". Always enjoy reading what you write. I want to schedule some kind of celebration for your passing your big exam--maybe we can do take out and party in hospital. Gigi
